About Love and Live it Pilates
My Pilates journey began as rehab after injuring my back moving a critically unwell patient. What started as recovery became a passion. It helped me move better, feel more in tune with my body, and ultimately become pain-free, building me back up stronger and more confident.
I've been lucky enough to travel and live in many countries, and Pilates has been the one constant. From practising on a dusty veranda in Kenya with locals to qualifying in 2021 under the expert guidance of the wonderful Jo Cobb at JPilates, it's always been with me.
I combine Pilates with my nursing career, bringing the same passion for problem-solving and caring for people to both roles. My medical and A&E background helps me guide you to move more effectively, prevent injury and recover from existing ones.
Why Love and Live it Pilates?
Every class is designed to leave you feeling stronger, more energised and with a smile on your face. My teaching focuses on body awareness, posture, balance and breath - helping you reconnect with how you move and feel. Good vibes and a welcoming smile are always included.
Classes suit all levels and abilities. I teach the classic 34 mat repertoire moves with variations, and while every class is different, there's enough continuity over a series of weeks for you to feel real progress.
“Change happens through movement and movement heals.”
